4. (a) Explain multiple sampling plan with an example.
(b) Explain probability, with reference to inspection and quality control activities of a factory.
5. (a) Estimate the lathe cutting time to turn a 350 mm long mild steel bar, having 125 mm diameter, down to 120 mm diameter in two cuts with a high carbon steel tool. First cut feed is 0.75 mm/rev. and second cut feed is 0.50 mm/rev. The cutting speed of both cuts is 30 m/min.
