LUCKNOW: Effecting reforms in the high school examination system, Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad has taken some important decisions. Now, students appearing in the high school examination-2010, would be declared pass if they fail in any one subject out of six subjects.
According to information given by the department of secondary education, if a student fails in one subject, he/she would be given an another opportunity to appear in the re-examination in the month of July. Moreover, in case a student fails in two subjects in the high school-2010 examination, he/she would be granted permission to appear in improvement or compartment examination but this would not be mentioned in the marksheet. The candidate would be granted permission to seek admission in Class XI.
Another important change brought about in the high school examination is that the rank mentioned in the marksheet has been abolished.
