Arni University is a H.P. State Government approved Private university situated at Kathgarh in Distt Kangra, Himachal Pradesh. The University near village Mirthal, 25 Km from/ on Pathankot- Jalandhar Highway (NH-1A). Pathankot is well connected by Train/ Bus on Delhi- Jammu main line, to Amritsar, Jalandhar, Gurudaspur, Hoshiarpur, Ropar Jammu and Kangra, Dalhousie and Dharmasala. Pathankot is also connected by Air from Delhi.
ARNI University, Kangra Himachal Pradesh has been established by Act (No. 23 of 2009) of state Legislature of Himachal Pradesh as a State Private University and is empowered to award degree specified by UGC under section 22 of UGC Act 1956.
The University in its first phase has a campus of 120 acres and with a constructed area of 4.5 lakh sq ft (approx). The second phase will have College of Medical Sciences, College of Dental Sciences and College of Nursing Sciences in the additional campus of 450 acres

Admission & Eligibility:
The university follows open door and transparent policy for admission at least 15% seats are reserved in all courses for bonafide wards of in general Himachal Pradesh residents. In general also, preferences will be given to Himachal Pradesh bonafides in matters.
The admission in 2009-10 all courses is bassed on merit & the list is drawn based on merit.
Only bonafide Indian residents who have passed the qualifying examination with 50% marks from the recognised Indian State, Boards, Central board or a degree with 50% marks in graduation from a recognized university.
