Student’s Board application can’t be withheld over fee: HC

supreme_court_9813543 New Delhi: A school cannot refuse to submit the board examination enrolment application of a student for failing to pay fee arrears to the school, the Delhi High Court has said.

Coming to the rescue of a girl who was thrown out of the school after her parents failed to pay the arrears after the fee hike, the HC on Tuesday directed the Delhi government to look into the matter and submit the action taken report by Thursday.

    The Bench headed by Justice A K Sikri also directed the Frank Anthony Public School to allow the Class X student to attend classes.
