Rajendra Agricultural University (RAU),Pusa,the lone Agricultural university of Bihar is one of the largest Agricultural university of the country by way of serving about 80 million population of the state out of which the livelihood of 90% households depend on agriculture only.The university was established on 3rd of December, 1970 at Pusa known as the motherland of Agriculture ,education and research across the globe.
There are five faculties in the university in the disciplines of Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal sciences, Agricultural Engineering, Basic sciences, Humanities & Home science, besides college of agriculture, Fisheries and institute of Dairy Technology.
Courses Offered:
The university offers six undergraduate degree programmes, thirty three post graduate programmes and eighteen Ph.D. programmes in various fields. It is also the only university to provide the program: MBA in Agribusiness. It also has:

The MBA (AGRI-BUSINESS) degree programme is a 2 year fully residential spanning over four semesters. During the first year the programme will undertake teaching on core courses in the subject area of Agriculture, Marketing ,Finance and Accounting, Communication ,Legal Management, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Decision Sciences and Business Environment and students are given a holistic view of general management covering all functional areas of management .
Admission Processes:
Admission will be purely on merit basis by means of All India Entrance Exammination conducted by Rajendra Agricultural University, Pusa Samastipur. Selection will be made on the score earned by the student in their written test, group discussion and interview. The Weightage on the score of written test will be 70%, group discussion 20% and interview 10%.
Candidates called for group discussion and interview will be require to bring the following documents: -Original and one set of attested photocopies of all certificates and statement of marks for all educational qualification.
-Certificate of caste, wherever application to support the category.
-Certificate of domicile of Bihar,wherever applicable.
