Admission Process of PGD-CET 2010 for Postgraduate MDS Courses
(PERSONAL COUNSELING ROUND)

In compliance to the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India order in WP(C) no. 189/2010 dated 13th May 2010, there will be an extended 2nd Round of PG counseling 2010 from 2nd June 2010 to 12th June 2010 under 50% All India Quota - 2010.
In view of the above stated Extended second round of 50% All India Quota seats, the chedule to fill State Quota seats by Personal Counseling round will be as per below stated chedule.

Dates  
21 /06/ 2010 Up-to 5.00 P.m. The candidates who has joined a seat of 50% All India quota in the State of Maharashtra, and wishes to surrender, should surrender his/her seat so as to be eligible for Personal Counseling Round and PGD-CET-2011 (i.e. next PGDCET).[ As per the rules of PGD-CET-2010 (Rule No. 12.4.1 (c))]

Display of following Vacancy
1) Seats made available after the display of seats declared for first round.
1) Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of state quota after 1st round.
2) Non Allotted / Non-Joined / Resigned seats of 50% All India return to State Quota after 20/6/2010
24/6/2010 5.00 p.m.

Submission of Status Retention Form at respective Institute.
(Retention form submitted before 22/6/2010 stands cancelled. All the desirous candidates should submit fresh Status Retention Form)

Display of all seats available for Personal Counseling Round
(These seats will be excluding the seats retained by the candidates by way filling Status Retention Form between 22/6/2010 to 24/6/2010.)

Friday 26/06/2010 11.00 a.m. The candidates who have filled the preference form either on 24/3/2010 or 15/4/2010, and eligible as per rule no. 12.4 of PGD-CET 2010 brochure.
Friday 26/06/2010 12.30 p.m.

Inter-Se round
If seat/s of Constitutional Reservation remain vacant.

All those candidates to whom a seat has been allotted in the first round of PGDCET 010 should note that the Status Retention Form filled prior to 22/06/2010 stands cancelled as a new seat has been added. The candidates who are desirous to retain their eat should fill it again (even if previously filled) so as to retain their seat.
The selection process will be according to the rules of PGD-CET 2010. All the desirous andidates who are eligible as per the rules should attend the personal counseling round according o the above schedule. The candidates should bring all the original documents for verification as
per the rule no. 11.2.3 of PGD- CET 2010 information brochure.
Candidates who have already joined a PG Course through PGD-CET 2010 should bring a certificate issued by the institute where he/she has joined, stating that the original certificates have been retained by it.
Candidates should note that they have to confirm the admission immediately after allotment of seat by paying Rs.1000/- in cash as admission fee and deposit all the original documents at the time of personal counseling.
