MD: General Medicine, Anaesthesiology, Radiodiagnosis, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Forensic Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pulmonary Medicine, Geriatrics.
MS: General Surgery, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology
PG Diploma: Clinical Pathology, Dermatology, Venerology & Leprosy, Orthopaedics , Medical Radio-therapy, Anaesthesiology, Psychiatry, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Tuberculosis & Chest Diseases, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Medical Radiodiagnosis, Child Health.
Age: Not more than 30 years for MD/MS and 40 years for PG Diploma as on 31 December 2010.
Eligibility : (a) MBBS degree from a recognized medical college. (b) Those who will complete the internship before 30 April 2010 and are able to produce the full registration from the MCI or any State Medical Council within one month from the date of admission. Candidates who failed more than three times in any examination or in more than three subjects during the under graduate course are not eligible (Does not apply to PG Diploma courses).
Selection: Based on the performance in the entrance examination and subsequent counselling.
a) By Post: Write to The Admission Co-ordinator, Office of Admissions, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, AIMS-Ponekkara.P.O, Kochi 682 041 along with a Demand Draft for Rs.1,320/- favouring "Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham", payable at Kochi.
b) In Person: Collect from selected branches of Dhanalakshmi Bank Ltd. or South Indian Bank Ltd. on payment of Rs.1,250/- (List of branches available in website) or,
c) Download from the website www.amrita.edu. Completed application to be sent along with a DD for Rs.1,320/- to The Admission Co-ordinator, Office of Admissions, AIMS-Ponekkara. P.O, Kochi 682 041.
d) Application can be submitted ONLINE too (Website : www.amrita.edu)
