Essential Qualifications: Master’s degree in Physical Sciences or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology or equivalent from a Recognized University. For Scientist ‘E’ 10 years & for Scientist ‘C’ 4 years experience in R & D in Industrial / Academic Institutions and / or Science & Technology Organizations.

Desirable Qualifications:
   1) Doctorate degree or equivalent in related subject from a recognized University.
   2) Experience in managing and directing R&D projects / programs.
   3) Published research work of high standard.

Specific Job Requirements: The candidates should have appropriate research and application development expertise in the following areas as evidenced by peer reviewed publications and patents.

For Scientist ‘E’ : Sol–gel based nanocomposite functional coatings (highly absorbing, anti–reflective, anti–emissive, super–hydrophilic, self–cleaning, transparent, conductive etc.,) for diverse applications.

For Scientist ‘C’ : Thermal spray coating technologies particularly cold / kinetic spraying, including experimental skills (for processing, characterization and performance evaluation of coatings) and expertise in modeling and simulation.
