Hindustani Prachar Sabha
(Founded by Mahatma Gandhi in 1942) announces an All India Essay Competition in Hindi for College & University Student
Topic: "How to tackle corruption".
Eligibility: College and University students from any part of India.
Length of Essay: 7,500 to 10,000 words
Format: Neatly typed (double spacing) on one side
Mode of Submission: by Courier or Registered Post
Last Date: 31st July 2011
Prizes:
1. First Prizes - Rs. 50,000/-
2. Second Prizes - Rs. 30,000/-
3. Third Prizes - Rs. 20,000/-
4. Five Consolation Prizes - Rs. 5,000/- each
Entries must be sent to Hindustani Prachar Sabha, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Building, 7, Netaji Subhash Road, off Marine Drive, Mumbai - 400002 accompanied by complete details of the Essayist - Name, Address, Telephone numbers, e-mail Id, name of College/University and Course of study.
The essays will be examied by a panel of eminent judges and 25 finalists will be called for a personal interview with the judges at the office of the Sabha in Mumbai. All expenses of travel and stay will be borne by the Sabha as per its guidelines.
The Sabha will acknoledge the receipt of every essay as soon as it is recieved. The prize winning essays will be published in the quarterly journal of Hindustani Prachar Sabha.
