Walk-In-Interview
A walk-in-interview is scheduled at Division of Agricultural Economics, IARI, at 10 AM on 23-02-2010 for the post of Research Associates under two projects namely “Environmental Impact Assessment of Resource Conservation Technology ” and “Edible Oilseeds Scenario in India ”. Details of age, qualification etc, are briefed as under:
Name of Post: Research Associates
1. Name of the Project: Environmental Impact Assessment of Resource Conservation Technology (Duration: 8 months)
2. Name of the Project: Edible Oilseeds Scenario in India (Duration:12 Months)
Qualifications:
Essential: M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics/Agricultural Statistics/Economics/Statistics with at least 60% marks.
Desirable: (i) Ph.D in relevant fields (ii)Proficiency in econometric/statistical software packages
Emoluments: Rs.17000 plus HRA for M.Sc. Rs.18000 plus HRA for Ph.D
Date and Venue of interview: 23-02-2010 at Division of Agricultural Economics, IARI, New Delhi – 110012

The above post is purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute. Age limit is 40 years with relaxation of five years for SC/ST and women and three years for OBC candidates. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Only the candidates having essential qualification world be entertained for the interview.
