ii. International Transportation & Logistics Management (Chennai Campus Only)
The School of Maritime Management offers M.B.A in Port & Shipping Management and International Transportation &
Logistics Management in IMU Head Quarters, Chennai and M.B.A in Port & Shipping Management in Cochin Campus.
Eligibility :
• A Bachelor Degree in any discipline with 50% of marks (45 % for SC / ST / PH candidates) from recognized Universities
• The applicant should have CAT score.
Application :
The prospectus and application form can be collected from the University for a fee of Rs. 1000/- for General/ OBC and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST/PH candidates in cash. The application and the prospectus can also be downloaded from the website www.imu.tn.nic.in /
www.imumba.com The filled in application form along with the following documents should be sent to The Admission Coordinator - MBA 2010, Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai-600119 on or before 11th June 2010 by super-seribing on the envelope “Application for MBA Admission - 2010”.
• Appropriate D.D in favour of Indian Maritime University, Chennai
• A complete Curriculum Vitae and a recent passport size photograph
• Attested copy of the degree certificate, statement of marks, Transfer Certificate (TC) and relevant academic transcript
• Copy of CAT Score sheet attested by Gazetted Officer / Principal of Institution last attended
• Attested copy of the community certificate, if applicable
• A self addressed stamped envelope
Seats and Reservations: Each program will have an intake of 30 students. The Government of India norms will be followed for reservations.
Course Fee and Duration:
The students are instructed to remit the course fee on or before the commencement of the course for every year. They need not wait for a separate intimation/ communication from the University regarding the fee. The University also encourages enrolment of candidates sponsored by their organization. The course fee is Rs. 2 lakhs per year as non-residential and should be paid only by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Indian Maritime University, payable at Chennai. For those who seek boarding/lodging
Rs. 60,000 per year will be charged extra*.
This programme is spread over a period of two academic years (i.e four semesters)
