Applications are invited in the prescribed tormat trom eligible candidates to nil the vacant / likely to become vacant posts of Junior Residents and senior residents (tenure posts of 01 and 03 years respectively) in Lok Nayak Hospital New Delhi and Sushruta Trauma Centre, (STC), Metcalf road.
1. VACANCIES:
(A) Junior Residents: No. of posts : - 65(UR- 33, OBC- 18, SC- 10, ST- 04)
(B) Senior Residents : No. of posts :-130(UR-43,OBC-59,SC-22,ST-06)

2. ELIGIBILITY FOR JUNIOR RESIDENTS:
(i) Educational and other Qualifications : - MBBS Degree from a recognized university and should have completed their internship on or after 01 January 2008. PG Degree / Diploma Holder are not eligible. The candidates must have registered with DMC.
(ii) Age Limit :- Below 30 years, as on last day of submission of application which is relaxable upto 5 years SC & ST and 3 years for OBC candidates (belonging to Delhi only).
(iii) Emoluments : - Basic pay Rs.15,600/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.5400/- and other allowances as admissible underthe rules.
(iv) Tenure : - The appointment will be initially for 6 months that can be extended further upto maximum period of 1 year subject to satisfactory performance, work and conduct report from concerned HOD. The other service condition will be governed by Residency Scheme.
3. ELIGIBILITY FOR SENIOR RESIDENTS:
(i) Educational and other Qualification :- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in concerned speciality from recognized university and must produce DMC registration for the same at the time of joining.
(ii) Age Limit :- Should be 33 Years for PG Degree and Diploma holder and 35 years for Post Doctoral Degree holder as per Residency Scheme as on the last date of submission of application. The age is relaxable upto 5 years for SC & ST and 3 years for OBC candidates belonging to Delhi onl
(iii) Emoluments : - Pay Band 15,600-39,100/-(PB-1) plus Grade Pay of 6600/- and other allowances as admissible under the rules.
(iv) Tenure:-The tenure of Senior Resident is fora period of 3 years including any service rendered as Senior Resident earlier on ad-hoc/regular basis in any recognized institution. The appointment will be initially for 01 year that can be extended further upto a maximum period of 3 years subject to satisfactory performance, work and conduct report from concerned HOD. The other service conditions will be governed by Residency Scheme.
(v) All Senior Residents working on Ad-hoc Basis in various Departments of Lok Nayak Hospital should also appear for the interview otherwise their service are liable to be terminated.
(vi) The Senior Residents selected in disciplines of Anaesthesia, ENT, Gen. Surgery, Medicine, Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics and Radiology will be required to undergo compulsory rotational posting at STC.
*(vii) Candidates for Emergency Medicine will be drawn from Post Graduates in the discipline of Anaesthesia, Gen. Surgery, Medicine, Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics.
4. FEE PAYABLE FOR THE POSTS OF JR/SR : Rs.500/- for General and OBC candidates in the shape of Demand Draft issued in favour of "M.S, Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi" payable at New Delhi. (Non-Refundable), SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment of fees.
5. Interested and eligible candidates may apply in the following prescribed format along with Demand Draft, attested copies of all testimonials /certificates, which must reach the office of The Addl. M.S (Administration), LNH, Room No.105, by 05.02.2010 upto 4 PM. Incomplete applications or received after the closing date will be rejected.
6. Dates & time of interview of eligible candidates will be displayed on notice board of Administrative Block, M.S. Office and also on our official website www.Inh.delhiaovt.nic.in on 10.02.2010. No separate information or call letter will be issued for the same.
7. Candidates must bring all certificates / Documents in original and recent passport size photograph at the time of interview.
8. No TA/DAwill be paid to the candidates called forthe interview. Competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and changes of the advertisement.
