Applications on prescribed form are invited from the citizens of India for the posts of Sister Grade-II on regular basis, as under:-

No. of Posts: 265 (UR-154/SC-27/ST-12/OBC-72)
The number of posts are subject to variation/increase.
ESSENTIAL QULIFICATION (s)
a) Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
b) Certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized Institute or equivalent qualifications for male nurse.
c) Should be registered ‘A’ Grade Nurse and Midwife with State Nursing Council equivalent qualification for male nurse.
AGE LIMIT :
18-30 years (Age relaxation will be given to SC upto 35 years and OBC 33 years and to Govt. Servants/departmental candidates as per rules)
Note : In case the number of candidates is large, a screening test may be conducted.
Application form and detailed information can be obtained from the office of the Medical Superintendent, Nursing Cell (Establishment), Nehru Hospital, PGIMER, Chandigarh – 160012 either personally or on written request accompanied by a self addressed & stamped (Rs.10/-) envelope (27 cm x 12 cm) along with a Demand Draft of Rs. 325/-(Rs. 175 for SC/ST candidates) drawn in favour of the Director PGIMER, Chandigarh payable at State Bank of India, Sector 12, Chandigarh (Code No. 1524) as cost of application form and fee (non-refundable) etc.
The same information and application form can also be downloaded from our Website (www.pgimer.nic.in). A Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (150/- for SC/ST candidates) should be enclosed with application downloaded from our website, towards non-refundable application fee and cost of application form etc. Incomplete applications and the application received after the due date i.e. after 15.01.2010 will be summarily rejected.
