5. Name of Post: Lecturer in Chemistry, History, English & Phy. Education. (No. of post: 01 each)

Pay Scale: Rs. 15600 + (AGP) Rs. 6000/-

Age Limit: As Per UGC/ NCERT GOI Norms

Note: Upper age is relexable for SC/ST, women etc. as per Govt. of India Rules. No age limit for NCERT employees. (The minimum age is 18 years for each post)

The Date for determination of age/experience/qualification shall be as on 1st May, 2010.

Qualification for Lecturers: Good academic record with 55% of the marks of equivalent grade of “B” in the seven point scale at Masters’ Degree level in the relevant subject from an fulfilling the above qualifications, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the relevant subject for Lecturers conducted by the UGC/CRIR or any other agency accredited by the UGC. Exemption, if any, to be provided will be strictly as per guidelines issued by MHRD, Gol and UGC to persons who have obtained a Ph.D. degree in accordance with the standards and rigor prescribed by the UGC under University Grants Commission (minimum standards and procedures for award of M.Phil/Ph.D. degree) regulations, 2009.

For the post of Lecturer in Extension Education : In addition to qualification prescribed for Lecturer in Education candidates should be a post graduate in any one of the subject areas: Political Science/ Economic/ Life Science/ Botany/ Zoology/ Hindi.

Desirable: B.Ed. for all post of Lecturers.
