Symbiosis National Aptitude Test
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is a common written test for the admission to all Post-Graduate Institutes of Symbiosis. It is a mandatory written test for admission into any Post-Graduate programme offered by the Constituent Institutes of Symbiosis. However, it is only the first step. In addition, a candidate has to undergo the selection process of the desired Institute to qualify for the admission to the Post-Graduate programmes of that Institute. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process.
This test is held in more than twenty cities all over India and the score of the SNAP Test is used to shortlist candidates for individual selection process which includes Group Discussion, and Personal Interview.
SNAP Test Structure
SNAP Test is an objective type of examination of 120 minutes duration. Each question has 4 responses. Candidate should choose an appropriate response. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

Eligibility:
The eligibility for most of the postgraduate courses offered by these institutes is minimum 50% marks in graduation from any UGC recognized University. The minimum marks for SCT/ST candidate is 45%. Though graduates of any discipline are eligible to apply for the various programs, some specific courses like MSc in Geoinformatics requires you to be a graduate in either Engineering, IT, Science, Computer Science, Agriculture, Environmental, Management, Geology, Geography or Commerce. Final year students awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.
