Defence Ministry
1. Ten Senior Scientific Officers, Grade-I in Engineering discipline in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Quality Assurance Service. Out of ten posts, two posts are reserved for SC candidates & one post each is reserved for ST & OBC candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disabilities of Hearing Handicapped(HH) or Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability or Cerebral Palsy with disability of OL(One Leg affected).
Pay Scale: Rs. 10000-15200 (T.E. Rs.22050)(Pre-revised).
Age: 40 yrs.
Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational: Degree in Automobile or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Four years' practical experience in Production / Development / Quality Assurance in the relevant field of Vehicles Nehicle Components, Steam/Gas Turbines, AC/RO Plants, Hydraulic equipments.
2. One Senior Scientific Officer, Grade - I (Gentex) in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Quality Assurance Service. The post is reserved for SC candidates. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Hearing Handicapped(HH) or Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability or Cerebral Palsy with disability of OL(One Leg affected).

3. Five Senior Scientific Officers, Grade-I (Armament) in the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Defence Quality Assurance Service. Out of five posts, one post each is reserved for SC & ST candidates. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped [Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor disability or Cerebral Palsy(One Leg affected)] candidates.

Home Affairs Ministry
6. One Deputy Director(Chemistry) in the Central Forensic Science laboratories under the Directorate of Forensic Science, Ministry of Home Affairs. Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+7600(Gr pay)(T.E. Rs.29464). Age: 50 yrs. Qualifications: Essential: A. Educational : Master's degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Forensic Science with Chemistry as one of the subject at Bachelor of Science level from a recognized University or equivalent. B. Experience: Ten years' experience of analytical method and research therein in the relevant field out of which at least three years' experience should be in a Forensic Science Laboratory.
Law & Justice Ministry
9. One Superintendent (Legal) in Legislative Department, Ministry of Law & Justice.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300-34800+4800(Gr pay)(T.E. Rs.17907).
Age: 35 yrs.
Qualifications : Essential : Educational : i) Bachelor's Degree in Law from a recognized University or equivalent. ii) Should have four years' experience as an officer of the State Judicial Service OR Should have four years' experience in the Legal Department of a State OR Should be a Central Government Servant who has four years' experience in legal affairs OR should be a qualified legal practitioner.
NOTE - I : In computing the period which a person has held any office in the State Judicial Service or in the legal Department of a State or has been a Central Government servant having experience in legal affairs, there shall be included any period during which he has held any of the other aforesaid offices or any period during which he had been a legal practitioner.
NOTE -II : In computing the period during which a person has been a qualified legal practitioner, there shall be included any period during which he has held any office in the State Judicial Service or in the Legal Department of a State or has been a Central Government having experience in legal affairs. NOTE -III : The term "Qualified Legal Practitioner" in relation to this clause means an advocate or a pleader who has practiced as such for four years.
Textiles Ministry
10. One Assistant Director, Gr - I (Weaving) in the Office of the Development Commissioner for Handlooms, Ministry of Textiles. The post is reserved for SC candidates.
Pay Scale: Rs.15600-39100+5400(T.E. Rs.26670).
Age: 40 yrs.
Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Degree in Textile Technology from a recognized University or Institution or equivalent. OR Diploma in Handloom Technology of a recognized Institution or equivalent. B. Experience : Three years' practical experience (five years in the case of Diploma holders in Handloom Technology) in a Textile Weaving or production establishment or Institute out of which at least one year should have been in Handlooms.
Employees' State Insurance Corporation
11. Two Assistant Directors(Official Language) in Employees' State Insurance Corporation. Of the two posts, one post is reserved for Physically Handicapped[Blindness or Low Vision(Blind)/Hearing Impairment(Partially Deaf/Deaf)/ Orthopaedically Handicapped/Locomotor Disability / Cerebral Palsy [OUBL(One leg Affected/Both Legs Affected)] persons from any community. The posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons having above mentioned disability.

Age: 30 yrs(Relaxable for employees of ESIC upto 5 years).
Qualifications : Essential : A. Educational : Master's Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the Degree level. OR Master's Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the Degree level. OR Master's Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the Degree level. OR Master's Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a subject at the Degree level. OR Master's Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi Medium and English as a subject at the Degree level. B. Experience : Five years' experience of Terminological work in Hindi and/or translation work from English to Hindi or Vice-versa, preferably of technical or Scientific Literature. OR Five years' experience of Teaching, Research, Writing or Journalism in Hindi.
Cancellation
Ref. No. F. 1/1 94/2008-R-IV. It is notified for general information that the recruitment to thirteen posts of Ordnance Officer Civilian(Stores) in Army Ordnance Corps, Directorate General of Ordnance Services, Integrated Headquarter(Army), Ministry of Defence(Ref. UPSC Advt. No.22, Item No.01) published in the leading Newspapers/ Employment News on 22-11-2008 has been cancelled.
* Age limit as on 18-03-2010. The age limit shown against S.Nos. 4 &10 is relaxed age limit for SC candidates. The age limit shown against S.No.8 is relaxed age limit for OBC candidates. The age limit shown against all other S.Nos is normal age limit and only in these cases, age is relaxable for SC/ST candidates upto 5 years & upto 3 years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.
* Age is also relaxable for certain other categories.
* Quals are relaxable at Commission's discretion.
NOTE : Candidates with disabilities[as indicated against Item(s)] can apply to the respective posts even if the post is not reserved for them. However, such candidates will be considered for selection to such posts by general standard of merit. Persons suffering from not less than 40% of relevant disability shall alone be eligible for the benefit of reservation and other relaxations as permissible under the rules.
* Prescribed EQs are minimum & mere possession of same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where number of applications received is large the Commission will short list the candidates to be called for interview.
* Fee Rs.50/- payable in form of Central Rectt. Fee Stamps ONLY to be affixed on application form. No other mode of payment is acceptable. No fee for SC/ST/ Physically handicapped Candidates. No fee for women candidates of any community. Candidates abroad should enclose fee receipt issued by Indian Embassy/Mission.
