Applications are invited from eligible candidates for appointment to the following Class – I, II & III posts which are vacant in the Salar Jung Museum, Hyderabad.

1. Name of the post: Dy. Keeper.
No. of vacant Posts: 1 (one post) Whether reserved, or unreserved. U.R
Classification: Class-I Junior. Non- Ministerial
Scale of pay (revised): P.B-3. Rs. 15600-39100 (+) G.P. Rs.5400                                                       
Age limit for direct recruitment: Below 40 years, as on 1.1.2010. Age relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Educational and other qualifications:
Essential:Masters Degree in Arts, or Science, or equivalent degree. Diploma in Museology with 3 years experience in a big Museum. OR  5 years experience in a Museum of standing on a responsible position.

2. Name of the post: Senior Technical Assistant.
No. of vacant Posts: 1 (one post) Whether reserved, or unreserved. U.R
Classification: Class-II (Non Ministerial)
Scale of pay (revised): P.B-2. Rs. 9300-34800 (+) G.P. Rs.4200                                                        
Age limit for direct recruitment: 35 years as on 1.1.2010. Age relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Educational and other qualifications:
Essential: Master's Degree in Arts, or Science. Three years experience of Museum work

3. Name of the post: Gallery Assistant 
No. of vacant Posts: 1 (one post) Whether reserved, or unreserved. U.R
Classification: Class-III (Non Ministerial)
Scale of pay (revised): P.B-1. Rs. 5200-20200 (+) G.P. Rs.2800                                                       
Age limit for direct recruitment: 35 years as on 1.1.2010. Age relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee in case of candidates otherwise well qualified.
Educational and other qualifications: University Degree in Arts or Science in a subject connected with the Museum. Preference will be given to candidates having Diploma in Museology.
