ABMTR is affiliated to Bangalore University. It is also a Learning Centre for Kings International University of Science & Technology, USA and Punjab Technical University, Jallandhar. Academy Of Business Management, Tourism and Research is an Affiliated College. The need of the hour is, therefore, to lay a strong foundation and evolve innovative process that will prepare these Managers of the future to be able to excel in the realm of Business Management and Tourism in the new millennium.

The approach to learning is Experiential in nature with participative techniques, beyond class room deliverance, for enhancing effective management skills. This approach will enable students to gain holistic understanding of modern business environment & help him/her to deliver competencies effectively. This practical approach provides requisite professional skills to take up challenging roles in any dynamic market.

ABMTR is located near the IT corridor of the Silicon Valley and is a mere 5 kms before reaching the Electronics city. Situated on Hosur road, a location that houses the major corporate of the City and just 11 kms away from the heart of the city (2 kms away from Silk Board Junction), the Institute provides the apt environment for Industry interaction, pursuit of Corporate Relations and also Projects and Placement activities.

Courses:

1. Bachelor of Business Management (B.B.M)  
     Eligibility : Candidates who have passed the Pre University Examination (+2 / Intermediate / Class 12th ) with any optional subjects are eligible for BBM Course. 
     Duration  : 3 year 
     Admission  : All eligible candidates will have to appear for a Written Examination (duration 100 minutes, based on English Language, Data Analysis, Critical reasoning and Business Awareness, Presentation Test and Subject & Personal Interview.

2. M.B.A. Retail Management 
     Eligibility : A Graduate from any discipline is eligible to apply. Students appearing for their Final Year /Semester examinations this year also can apply. 
     Duration  : 2 year 
     Admission  : All eligible candidates will have to appear for a Written Examination (in MAT Format), Group Task, Subject Interview and Personal Interview. (Students with MAT score of 500 and above are exempted from the Test, but, they should attach a copy of their score card). 

3. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
      Commerce (Three Year Full Time - Six Semester)

4. Master of Travel Administration (M.T.A.)
      Travel Administration (Two Year Full Time - Four Semester)

5. Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)
       Business Management  (Kings International University of Science & Technology, USA) (Three Year Full Time / Part Time )

6. PGDBA (Bangalore University)
          ( One Year - Two Semester)

7. PGDEM + MBA (UGC Approved)
          ( Two Year Full Time /Part Time - Four Semester)

8.  PGDFB + MBA (UGC Approved)
          ( Two Year Full Time /Part Time - Four Semester)

9. PGDRM + MBA (UGC Approved)
         ( Two Year Full Time /Part Time - Four Semester)

Admission:

MBA with PG Diploma in Retail Mgmt.

Eligibility : Candidates who have passed the Pre University Examination (+2 / Intermediate / Class 12th ) with any optional subjects are eligible for BBM Course.

Master of Tourism Administration (MTA)(Bangalore University)
Eligibility : A Graduate from any discipline is eligible to apply. Students appearing for their Final Year /Semester examinations this year also can apply.

Post Graduate Diploma in International Business
Eligibility : A Graduate from any discipline is eligible to apply. Students appearing for their Final Year /Semester examinations this year also can apply. Candidates with work experience get preference.
