Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISER) is situated at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. IISER-TVM has been established in 2008 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, to promote quality education and research in basic sciences. IISER-TVM is dedicated to scientific research and science education of international standards. IISER-TVM is an autonomous institution awarding five year integrated MS degree in addition to Ph.D degrees in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and inter-disciplinary areas. The emphasis will be to develop a spirit of research cutting across disciplines from the beginning itself.

Admission:

Master’s degree in Science with minimum 60%. , CSIR -JRF/ GATE with a score generally >90 percentile (specified by the short listing committee) , Pass in Interview. The duration of the PhD Programme is approximately 8 semesters. One-time Fees: Approximately Rs. 10000/-, Every Semester : Tuition Fee: Rs. 6000/- per semester .
