The Institute was established by Govt. of Uttar Pradesh in the year 1978. It caters to the requirements of government departments, cooperative and corporate organizations sector in the areas of executive training and development, research & consultancy services besides conducting academic programmes. Considering overwhelming response from cooperate sector institutions to avail the facilities provided by Institute in the areas of training, research and consultancy, the objectives of Institute have been widened to accommodate requirements of corporate and public sector organizations. to accommodate requirements of corporate and public sector organizations.
