LEARNING METODOLOGY-

Teaching methods at IPEM include lectures, group discussions, seminars, business games role plays, stimulation exercises and field visits. Class lectures are ment primarily for the conceptual inputs consistent with advancement in teaching technology. The programme harmonizes the use of computers in learning of basic principles in different functional areas of management. For interaction, self learning and exposure to business managerial problems, class lectures are combined with the use of case studies/ group discussions and field visits to give value based first hand operational knowledge. Regular seminars on week to week basis are conducted. These seminars are chaired by practicing managers from the industry and other professionals. The courses with built in element of flexibility are designed to adapt with the on going requirement of the business and professional field. At IPEM, we do not believe in cramming mode, instead, we concentrate on the learning mode.
